5 Senses Week *MWF*

This week we talked all about our 5 Senses.  We painted with Kool-aid and built Mr. Potato Heads.  We played a touch guessing game (we placed an object inside a covered box and the children had to describe how it feel and tried to guess what it was) and guess the sound game. We sang a silly song about Apples and Bananas.  We read the books Too Loud Lily and My Five Senses.  On Friday, we made homemade lemonade.
We had our first chapel of the year with Pastor Chris.  We also had our pictures taken.  The proofs should come back in a couple weeks.
Next week we will be talking about colors and how they mix to make new colors.
Getting ready for Pastor Chris' story.
Pastor Chris teaching us about how the rams horn was used to call people to meetings in biblical times.
We are using pop tubes to make noises. We talked about our sense of hearing.

Working those gross motor muscles to squeeze the lemon juice.

We had to stir in some sugar so it wouldn't be too sour!

 "This is yucky!"

The lemonade turned out so yummy!
Painting with Kool-aid.  Stop outside our classroom and take a sniff of our art.  It smells delicious!
